Graduate Assistant Women’s Rowing Coach

Responsibilities: The Graduate Assistant will work with coaching staff in all aspects of running a Division I rowing program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to coaching, on-campus recruiting, and administrative duties.
Applicants must have completed an undergraduate degree and qualify for appointment as a graduate assistant at the University of Iowa. The graduate assistant must enroll in at least 50 percent (a minimum of five hours) of a regular graduate program of studies.
Salary: Per NCAA rules, compensation will not exceed the value of a full grant-in-aid for a full-time student, (approximately $23,300 for the 2020-21 academic year), plus a full tuition scholarship at the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences resident rate. This appointment also includes health and dental insurance.
Terms of Employment: Per NCAA rules, individuals may serve as a graduate assistant coach for a period of not more than two years except that if the individual successfully completes 24-semester hours during the initial two-year period, the individual may serve as a graduate assistant coach for a third year. Appointments will be based on the academic year (9 months) with ten equal monthly payments beginning September 1, 2021.
