What We Are Looking ForBaylor University Athletics is seeking an Associate Director of Development Operations. This position manages the day-to-day operations of the Baylor Bear Foundation.



A Bachelor's Degree and two years of relevant work experience are required. Four years of relevant work experience are preferred.

The Associate Director of Development Operations is responsible for the following duties:

  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Answer phone calls, assist donors, process payments
  • Manage and submit departmental invoices
  • Assist with the planning and execution of marketing campaigns for annual fund membership campaigns, season and single-game ticket sales, special events, and Bear Foundation membership
  • Write and develop content for use in email marketing
  • Identify trends and monitor key performance indicators for athletics revenue and engagement
  • Serves as a liaison to data warehouse and automation partners
  • Assist in donor identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship
  • Responsible for the coordination and execution of special events
  • Create and maintain annual fund events and solicitations calendar
  • Manage the hiring and retention of graduate assistants and student workers
  • Develop and train student staff to offer the highest customer service that enhances the brand of the Bear Foundation
  • Work directly with ticket sales team to coordinate communication and customer service efforts related to donors and season ticket holders
  • Assist on game days with donor relations and customer service needs
  • Prioritize and complete ongoing tasks following established departmental guidelines and policies
